Application Security Architect

We are looking for an Application Security Architect for an onsite project in Brussels.

Requirements:

• University degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years specializing in application security
• Strong knowledge of application security concepts and experience integrating with corporate security tools
• Proven experience with agile development methodologies, DevOps/DevSecOps practices, and cloud/microservices architectures
• Familiarity with development and security tools, such as GitHub and SonarQube
• Hands-on experience implementing security in DevOps pipelines, including:
  • Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
  • Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
  • Image scanning
  • Dependency scanning
  • Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST)
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices, with experience supporting languages like Java and .NET Core
• Ability to establish secure development processes and tools, and to coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities from security testing and penetration tests
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to supporting DevSecOps practices across development teams
• The role is based in Brussels, and the candidate must either reside in Brussels or have an interest in relocating
