Job Description

We are looking for a Internet of Things (IoT) Engineer for a project on a remote basis.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions and architectures
  • Experience with IoT device management, data acquisition and integration
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure IoT services, including Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Edge and other Azure services relevant to IoT solutions
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python or JavaScript
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols relevant to IoT (e.g. MQTT, CoAP, AMQP)
  • Experience with IoT communication technologies and protocols, including cellular, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN and Zigbee
  • Strong emphasis on IoT-specific security practices and solutions, ensuring the security of data transmission and devices
  • Ability to design scalable and efficient system architectures that handle data flow, peripheral computing and cloud integration
  • Experience in integrating microcontrollers, sensors and actuators into functional systems
  • Proficiency in English
