Senior Defect Manager

We are looking for a Senior Defect Manager for a project on hybrid basis in Lisbon.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in defect management roles, with a strong focus on multi-platform environments.
• Proficient in Jira (custom workflows, dashboards, advanced reporting, and optimization).
• Experience with defect reporting, root cause analysis (RCA), and process improvement tools.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience managing defects across Set-Top Boxes (STB), SmartTVs, Mobile, and Web applications (highly desirable).
• Ability to analyze large defect datasets and transform them into actionable quality insights.
• Experience in defining, optimizing, and scaling defect management processes to meet high-quality assurance standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and drive root cause resolutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external clients.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Certifications: ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
