Senior Data Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer for a project on a remote basis in Portugal.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering roles, ideally in large-scale or cloud environments
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Python for pipeline development and optimization
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehouse architecture, and performance tuning
- Practical experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift)
- Experience in creating ETL/ELT pipelines and handling structured and semi-structured data
- Familiarity with PySpark or other distributed processing tools
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and columnar storage formats (Parquet)
- Fluent English (essential)
