Data Platform Architect

We are looking for a Data Platform Architect for a project on a remote basis in Europe.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field
• 5 years of proven professional experience in data platform management and architecture
• Experience in the RC/RC Movement and/or in international humanitarian or development organizations
• Solid knowledge of data platform technologies, including data ingestion, storage, processing and analysis
• Proficiency in cloud platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark and distributed storage systems
• Knowledge of data governance, security and privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
